Why is it that rice when reheated in the pressure cooker is dry and has a harder texture? When it’s covered with a wet towel and heated in microwave it almost tastes fresh.

Thanks Anusha! Adding to your viewpoint - The bubbling from heat that happens on the stovetop is especially effective when you have a porridge-y texture like bisibele which is hard to imitate in the microwave (because it heats using a completely different principle).
